Kindergarten Readiness Program for ages 2.5-5

Where Little Minds Grow From Clouds to Rainbows

At Creative Minds, we thoughtfully guide children ages 2.5–5 through a nurturing preschool journey that builds confidence, curiosity, and kindergarten readiness—honoring each child’s growth from gentle beginnings to bright, capable learners ready to follow a group plan. Our program bridges early learning and elementary education by combining developmentally appropriate preschool practices with curriculum designed by experienced elementary teachers.

Clouds Class

Clouds 2.5/3 years

Foundations through play, routine, and connection

In our Cloud Class, children focus on developing a sense of safety, trust, and belonging as they begin their preschool journey. Learning centers on social-emotional growth, early language development, sensory exploration, and fine motor skills through play-based experiences that support curiosity and independence at a gentle, age-appropriate pace.

Sunshine Class

Sunshine 3-4 years

Confidence, curiosity, and emerging independence

The Sunshine Class builds on early foundations by encouraging communication, problem-solving, and cooperative play. Children engage in hands-on learning that supports early literacy and math concepts, creative expression, and self-help skills, while strengthening confidence, attention, and positive peer relationships.

Rainbow Class

Rainbows 4-5 years

Kindergarten readiness through leadership and growth

Our Rainbow Class is designed to prepare children for kindergarten by nurturing independence, responsibility, and a love of learning. Children strengthen early reading, writing, and math skills, practice critical thinking and collaboration, and develop emotional regulation and leadership through structured routines, project-based learning, and meaningful classroom roles.

Tuition includes our comprehensive 10-month Kindergarten Readiness program (Sept-June), which covers all curriculum and materials.

With so many pre-k options, it may be challenging to pick the best for your child. That’s where our unique and powerful program comes into play.

Contrary to popular belief, kindergarten success has MUCH less to do with ABCs and 123s, and much MORE to do with knowing how to be a student with a new group of friends! At Creative Minds, we are committed to fostering the necessary skills, confidence and independence to help your child THRIVE during their kindergarten year and beyond.

We know because this program has been developed by experienced certificated kindergarten teachers who have seen this magical transition with our own eyes. With decades of experience, we know what REALLY matters.

Pre-Literacy Skills

Activities emphasizing language, letter sounds, rhyme and familiarization the alphabet. Recognizing, building and writing our names paired with intentional read-alouds, songs, and wordplay to build language and literary confidence.

Social-Emotional Skills

Learning how to play fair, follow a group plan, and develop a sense of agency. When students have the tools to navigate social experiences, they feel confident to take on the big kindergarten transition with pride and awareness.

Independence

From separating from family for the first time, eating in a group and opening their lunches to independently getting their backpack on and asking for help when needed, independence is KEY when your child transitions into a big, busy kindergarten classroom of 18 + friends and 1 teacher.

Foundational Math Skills

Counting, exploring numbers, comparing, and categorizing are all an embedded part of our curriculum that helps set the stage for further math learning with a true understanding of the Base 10 System.

Motor Skills

Motor skills are embedded across our program. Gross (big) movement skills will help your child develop physically, navigate their space at school, and understand their body in a space. Fine (small) motor skills help strengthen hand muscles and refine movements so your child will be ready to write, draw and manipulate without fatigue, zip their own backpack, and more.
